- In this role, you will be joining our Developer Success Team within Engineering Excellence & Productivity (EXP), Infrastructure & Cloud (I&C) as a Developer Success Specialist. This team serves as a front door to the Engineering Excellence & Productivity (EXP) engineering, operations, and compliance teams with the key focus of enabling our DevOps teams to bring new software or new features to production as quickly as possible.
- Identify and resolve developer issues related to code, build, test, and deployment workflows through education and information campaign
- Ensuring developer are receiving the required support to adopt and efficiently use the DevOps tools and platform to accelerate delivery of product. Using our EXP squads, the team will either explicitly implement the technical change required or lead coordinated efforts where there are multiple capability dependencies.
- Ensuring correct tooling standards are communicated, understood and being followed as well as automation of operational tasks.
- Continuously review operating metrics and data to find opportunities to improve.
Tech Profile/Essential Skills
- Understanding of DevOps / DevSecOps Principles including CI/CD
- Understanding of fundamentals of Developer Tools (ex: GitLab, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes)
- Superb communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to deep dive into pain points related to code, build, test, and deployment workflows
- Knowledge Management Tools (ex. Confluence, SharePoint, Teams, Stack Overflow), including Administration and Configuration
- Desired experience in conducting surveys (NPS) and organizing unique events (Hackathons, Workshops), and knowledge management campaigns.
- Desired experience with Video Editing and Publishing
- Presentation Delivery Tools (Sharepoint, MS PowerPoint, Lucid Chart).
- Ability to analyse data patterns and optimize solutions accordingly.
Develop and maintain internal tools and services that help automate repetitive tasks and improve development workflows
Preferred Skills and Experience
Solid understanding of DevOps principles, including Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).
- Experience with developer tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Comprehensive understanding of support processes and methodologies.
- Previous experience in a support, coordination, user facing role
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Superb communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under stress and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong organisation skills and attention to detail.
- General understanding of Databases
- Hands-On experience in scripting language, preferably Python
- Hands-On experience of working with PPM Tools (ex. Asna, Jira, Clarity) and Presentation Delivery Tools (ex. MS PowerPoint, Lucid Chart, etc.)
- Hands-On experience in creating, editing and distributing user communications covering both technical and non-technical aspects of tooling and processes.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English with all levels of staff, both orally and written.
- Ability to manage own work and multitask to meet tight deadlines without losing sight of priorities under minimum supervision.

Responsibilities:
- Build tools and training materials to support developers with evolving DevOps tools, ensuring optimal use of the system and promoting knowledge sharing culture.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure the accuracy and relevance of curated content, timeliness of training
- Participate in automation (hands on scripting) where opportunities arise
- Identify, evaluate, and curate relevant DevOps knowledge resources, including articles, research papers, case studies, and best practices.
- Builds strong relationships with senior internal stakeholders, growing network and collaborating with own team and colleagues in other domains. Communicates complex information clearly to relevant audiences.
- Takes initiative to develop knowledge in technology products and tools through on the job learning, certifications, and hands on coding projects.
- Must interact with global teams in time zones spanning UK, US, APAC areas.
- Track the impact of team initiatives through metrics such as engagement rates, content views, time to time find answers and put in place feedback loops such as surveys/user feedback mechanisms
- Engage in and improve the whole lifecycle of developer training services—from inception and design, to roll-out and operational refinement.
- To ensure knowledge and training artifacts of all supported systems are continuously updated.
- To provide the highest level of customer service, whilst working under pressure.
- To follow and adhere to established Incident Management, Change Management and Problem Management procedures.
- Continuously assess the effectiveness of knowledge dissemination methods and adjust strategies accordingly
- Optimize search and retrieval capabilities to help developers quickly find the required information
