JD: JOB DESCRIPTION

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
1. Responsible for managing and maintaining messaging infrastructure, including MQ, RDQM, SQS, SNS, Amazon MQ, SFTP, and DataSync.
2. Develop and enhance scripts (Python or other languages) to automate infrastructure tasks and improve efficiency.
3. Work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues.
4. Collaborate with architects and engineers to design and implement scalable and reliable messaging solutions.
5. Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize messaging workflows.
6. Ensure high availability and disaster recovery capabilities for messaging systems.
7. Participate in the planning and execution of infrastructure upgrades and migrations.
8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices related to messaging and data transfer technologies.
9. Contribute to documentation, create technical guides, and provide training to other team members.
10. Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and propose innovative solutions.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
1-3 years professional experience required.
Familiarity using continuous integration and deployment concepts.
At least 2 years experience with specific technical requirements/platforms (i.e. Java, JavaScript, .NET, Python, Gitlab CICD and Ansible).
Familiarity with public cloud and associated technologies (AWS, Azure, Containerization. Kubernetes).
Strong technical skills.
Understanding of your business domain.
Able to mentor new team members.
Can communicate clearly to the business.
