Description:

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent office experience
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in an office. Preference is given to those with experience working as an administrative assistant in a development office or in nonprofit gift processing
  • Cover Letter is required

COMPUTER SKILLS:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, etc.) • Experience working with a database, Raiser’s Edge experience preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Process gifts received by check, credit card, wire, stock, and othersources
  • Import gifts from online platform into fundraising database
  • Scan gifts into workflow for processing
  • Generate tax receipts: merge letters, review information for accuracy, print, stuff, mail and upload letters to database
  • Prepare gifts for deposit by the Finance departments • Answer the main phone line, route calls and respond to inquiries
  • Monitor the gift processing folder and respond to inquiries in a timely manner
  • Assist with database data clean-up – update addresses and salutations, createnew records and other data entry duties
  • Other duties as assigne
