Description:
Estuary Housing are currently seeking a Development Coordinator who will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of new build development pipeline and schemes on site, within Estuary’s core business areas within Essex and east London.
As a New Development Coordinator, you will manage the marketing and sales of new homes and produce management reports for internal and external use. You will also oversee the post sales process in relation to the successful resolution of identified defects.
You will ensure that schemes are efficiently and effectively managed in accordance with EHA’s policies and procedures and HE/GLA guidance to satisfy grant requirements and that the quality of the build is maintained.
Responsibilities:
YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
Ensure the success of development projects, taking responsibility for all aspects of the development up to planning (incl S.106) and ensuring the performance of all functions to realise deliverable schemes in line with the project brief and approvals.
Oversee the preparation of a concept design and to prepare an outline financial appraisal of that design using relevant software (ProVal) to demonstrate how the project can make a profit/surplus, to outline time, cost, revenue & return.
Manage the preparation of planning application material to obtain viable and deliverable planning consents. This includes consulting with external Stakeholders in respect of formal and informal external consultations.
Oversee the setting up and implementation of a Sales and Marketing plan for each project. Review direct residential market competition and ensure the project can respond to market forces to mitigate sales risk.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU MUST HAVE:
- Experience within property development.
- Substantial project management experience.
- Experience within a housing sector either private or public.
- Committed to always deliver excellence in customer service.
- Evidence of CPD.
Due to the nature of the role, you will be required to climb ladders and scaffolding, and to access confined spaces.
