Band 6 / Salary: £35,000 - £40,000
Join our dynamic team as a Development Coach here at Serco and have a meaningful impact on the lives of learners on our Apprenticeship programs. In this role, you will support a caseload of apprentices ensuring they achieve within established timeframes while delivering a learning experience that exceeds expectations.
You will develop and implement personalised learning plans, coach, motivate and inspire learners to reach outstanding outcomes. Collaborating closely with our quality and compliance team, you will ensure top tier delivery and maintain high level evidence in line with regulatory requirements, and Serco’s high standards overall. Monitoring progress and addressing any concerns will be key, as you work with employees to support timely achievement of goals.
Responsibilities:
Be an enthusiastic individual who is occupationally competent, experience in delivering/supporting English and maths would be an advantage.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential, along with excellent interpersonal abilities to effectively engage with learners.
You should be able to take the initiative and work independently while demonstrating outstanding organisational and time management skills.
A background in teaching or training, or a solid understanding of these areas, will be beneficial as you inspire and support our learners on their journey to success.
CAVA (or similar) qualified (desirable)
Recognised Teaching Qualification at level 5 or above (or be willing to work towards)
Experience of delivering teaching, learning and assessment.
Knowledge/experience of apprenticeship frameworks / standards (desirable).
