JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a talented and motivated Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Allen-Bradley PLC and HMI program development and a keen interest in industrial engine and turbine controls engineering. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects that push the boundaries of technology while collaborating with a team of skilled professionals.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering.
  • Proven experience in Allen-Bradley, Motohawk and GAP software development programming languages.
  • Expertise with industrial engine and turbine applications in power generation plants, is highly desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git is a plus.
  • A passion for learning new technologies and improving existing systems.

    Pay: $97,628.00 - $115,818.00 per year

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Brighton, MI 4811

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Allen-Bradley PLC, Motohawk and GAP based software applications with a focus on performance and scalability.
  • Design, develop, and maintain electrical wiring designs including harness design inputs with a focus on performance and scalability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Write clean, maintainable application programs following best practices and coding standards.
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.
  • Participate in program reviews to ensure quality and share knowledge with team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, particularly industrial engine and turbine controls engineering.
  • Document software designs, processes, and user guides for future reference.
