You will be working on the Central Rail Systems Alliance (CRSA) project undertaking the development of plain line track, S&C and drainage renewals work for the CRSA Enhancements team. This role will lead on all aspects of the development works and a play a prominent role to ensure construction works are planned in a safe manner, to quality and at the right costs.
What you’ll be doing
As a Development Manager, you will have the following accountabilities:
- Create a methodology for development projects;
- Ensure the design is constructible;
- Check and define material quantities;
- Develop programmes for work packages;
- Optioneering methodology and access;
- Define resource requirements;
- Integrate multi-discipline programmes.
Who we’re looking for
You will have the following:
- Recognised Project Management experience;
- Strong team worker and experience of collaborative/partnering working arrangements;
- Demonstrable understanding of H&S and environmental legislation;
- Proven ability to lead a multi-disciplinary team.
The following qualities/experience are desirable:
- Graduate or HND with experience or railway experience;
- 5 years minimum railway environment construction experience;
- Working knowledge of multi-disciplinary’ railway engineering encompassing p/way, OHLE, Civils and Signalling as a minimum.
