Description:

Forseven, a revolutionary company is looking to transform the EV industry through cutting-edge technology and innovative engineering practices, are seeking a Safety Development Manager to join our highly skilled and dynamic Engineering team.
The role will operate in a hybrid capacity out of our offices in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire where the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside some of the most visionary minds in the automotive field.
Reporting to the Head of Development, you will lead the development of vehicle Safety across multiple programs with a primary focus on the development of Passive Safety. This Role will work close with Function, Attribute & Simulation teams to ensure the most efficient development plan is in place.

Responsibilities:

  • Understanding how Attribute & System tests fit within the overall attribute validation process
  • Leading workstreams within multi-disciplined cross-functional attribute/system team
  • Leading and managing a team of Development Engineers at various levels
  • Ensuring robust Engineering DVP & Asset timing plan is in place for all performance related testing
  • Supporting the Test Facility Frameworks to reduce cost and increase efficiency
  • Ensuring Training & Development programs are in place for the team
  • Supporting Issue resolution
  • Ensuring Health & Safety standards are met for all testing
  • Shareing knowledge and learning around subject area with the wider team (attribute and development)
  • Managing Team CAPEX & OPEX alongside team resourcing profile
