JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Honours degree in Business Management, Marketing, Public Relations or equivalent
• At least Five (5) years of experience in public relations and development at a tertiary institution.

• Creating high-quality, professional, accurate proposal documentation to present to prospective donors in line with the strategic objectives of the Advancement Unit and the University.
• Writing proposals for or on behalf of the Advancement Unit and University.
• Supporting and coordinating the proposal’s initial inquiry/leading to the final presentation.
• Gathering information from many sources through the Advancement Unit to generate proposal documents.
• Acquire and maintain sound knowledge and understanding of the University and use the knowledge and experience to comprehend better all projects and programmes for which grants will be sought.
• Communicating Advancement Unit needs or challenges and core abilities and presenting these accurately in a required format to corporate, embassies, and multinational organizations.
• Any other duties assigned by the Director, Marketing, Branding, and Communication from time to time.
