Responsibilities:

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Development Project Manager is responsible for leading a portfolio of solar PV and battery projects from inception to “ready to build”, ensuring that projects are managed effectively and in line with milestones. You will act as the central point of co-ordination, collaborating across multidisciplinary teams to drive projects forward whilst proactively managing risks and budgets.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

  • Acting as the key point of contact for assigned projects, define and implement detailed project plans with clear milestones and dependencies.
  • Plan, organise, and oversee all activities required to deliver solar and battery storage projects successfully, including resource allocation (time, money, people).
  • Monitor project budgets, flagging potential overspend and suggesting mitigations.
  • Develop and execute stakeholder management plans, ensuring smooth communication and updates for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the Head of Grid Connections to ensure timely and efficient progression of grid applications
  • Work closely with the Planning Manager to ensure timely submissions and community consultations for planning approvals.
  • Coordinate with the legal and land management teams to progress land agreements effectively.
  • Maintain accurate and secure project documentation.
