Responsibilities:
THE ROLE
As a Software Developer you will contribute to software projects, mentor junior developers, and contribute to the technical culture of your agile team. You will be given the opportunity to work on the full technical scope on multiple services, have ownership over its performance / resilience and work on the business processes it affects and the value it creates. You will experience many facets of the world of ecommerce web development with a domain and event driven architecture that is scalable and reactive, working exclusively with live data all deployed on the cloud.
You will be an integral part of a technical team in charge of a brand new Order Management System (OMS) for our ecommerce website. This project contains multiple opportunities to work and interact with various new and existing systems.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Contribute with autonomy on the design, development, testing, deployment, and delivery of large-scale software applications, systems, platforms, services or technologies
- Be part of the DevOps culture and take responsibility towards the operations of the technologies deployed by the team, improving observability and resolving issues
- Ensure product resilience by automating tests as part of the continuous integration and deployment process (CI/CD)
- Proactively work with the product team to conceive functional or technical solutions based on the context of the team and the business to offer flexible options to stakeholders
- Assist all developers in your team (peer review) and improve your team’s developer experience
