Application Manager at NNIT DevOps division

You will become part of a growing team, today counting four people, delivering top-priority system maintenance for three critical financial integration applications essential to the customer and their contribution to the Danish society. Our applications are built using .NET and Azure platform. We work closely with the customer and an IT partner to ensure the services needed for the customer to fulfill their core mission.
Your responsibilities as an Application Manager:
As our Application Manager, you will be the primary contact point between the client and NNIT’s delivery team, overseeing projects, development, operations, and support. Your communication skills will ensure customer satisfaction. You will plan, prioritize, and delegate tasks to maintain team morale, collaborating with colleagues in Copenhagen, Prague, and Manila. You will manage KPIs, contract management, and have full economic autonomy. We do not necessarily expect you have the entire skillset today but we expect that you are eager to learn and grow to fulfill the role.

Your tasks will include:

  • Oversee coordination and quality of Application Maintenance and Development services for the client.
  • Manage stakeholders and conduct status meetings with clients.
  • Lead daily communication and management of the application team.
  • Utilize KPIs to maintain service levels.
  • Manage budgets for Service Level Agreements and project contracts.
  • Coordinate, plan and estimate projects and tasks.
  • Lead projects with clients using agile methods or the V-model as the project manager.

You will be supported by a team of skilled and dedicated specialists who, like you, are passionate about delivering quality IT services to our clients.

Your qualifications and experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of successful experience in a similar role within IT services.
  • Experience in a client-facing coordinating role.
  • Experience in IT project management and delivery of agile engagements.
  • A structured approach combined with a high degree of proactivity.
  • Customer-oriented mindset.
  • Fluent in both Danish and English.

Experience with service-based agreements and application management. An ITIL certification will be an advantage.
