Job Description
The DevOps team is responsible for developing and maintaining various tools and systems designed to automate continuous delivery and deployment processes. This team also handles the development of our client hosting solutions on the Azure cloud.
You will join a team that is curious, bold, and loves to push its limits. We promote teamwork, incorporating Agile/SCRUM methodologies with a touch of creative flair.
GIRO is undergoing a DevOps transformation. As a Developer, you will contribute to the design and implementation of automation tools within a “Cloud First” strategy and act as a technological change agent. Main Responsibilities:
- Establishing a deployment and infrastructure management system on Azure to support various products and projects;
- Setting up deployment systems on the Azure cloud for GIRO products;
- Optimizing the use of cloud resources (metrics, auto-scaling, resilience, native cloud services).
QUALIFICATIONS
- University degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience;
- A minimum of 5 years of experience.
Technical Skills
- Hands-on experience in creating and managing deployment automation pipelines, ensuring process reliability and security;
- Strong knowledge of networking and management of Windows environments, Active Directory (AD), and use of GPOs in an Azure context;
- Solid understanding of Azure cloud, minimally in the following services, both for setup and management: VMs, Storage accounts, cloud networking, WAF, AVD, Disaster Recovery (DR), VNET, Active Directory, and everything required for proper cloud environment functionality;
- Proficiency with tools like Terraform, Ansible, advanced Shell scripting (PowerShell, bash, etc.), YAML, and JSON to orchestrate, automate, and manage infrastructures and configurations;
- Strong knowledge of database deployment;
- Familiarity with cloud architecture patterns;
- Practical knowledge of Kubernetes;
- Competence with Windows (administration) and Linux operating systems.
