DEVOPS ENGINEER - CLOUD
Aversan Inc. (www.aversan.com) is a reputable Engineering Company that provides expertise in Systems Integration and Software Testing for industries including Digital Health, Medical Devices, IT and Aerospace. We are currently seeking a qualified DevOps Engineer – Cloud to work on leading-edge technology products. The successful candidate for this full-time position will be a part of a highly motivated and highly technical work environment that feeds off the collective energy of a team-oriented workplace.
Location: Vancouver, BC
Schedule: Hybrid role- 1 day onsite – Wednesday – Rest work from home
Working Hours: 9AM – 5PM PST

Client is a leader in cybersecurity, with a passion for protecting our valuable customers applications & data. Client is known as the cybersecurity expert - trusted by industry leaders and recognized as best-in-class by both our customers and independent analysts alike. We are looking to find a DevOps Engineer to work hybrid in our Vancouver office.
Responsibilities.
- Eager to demonstrate and share your work with stakeholders and team members
- Collaborate with product managers and other software engineers to work on the
- business requirements, user experience goals and pain points. Deep curiosity, problem solving skills and being well organized go a long way
- Love researching new technologies that we want to introduce into our product/tech stack, and willingness to learn new technologies, and to solve problems
- Assist in the deployment and configuration of technologies and tools used in software development, including build servers, version control systems, and automated testing frameworks.
- Assist in managing and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure and services, as those provided by Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Work together with the development team to resolve problems with infrastructure and software deployments.
- Create and maintain scripts and automation tools to simplify infrastructure administration and software deployment.
- Help with access control and vulnerability management, as well as monitoring and maintaining system security.
- Keep abreast of current DevOps and software development trends and best practices.
Basic Qualifications & Skills
- Experience with cloud-based systems (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible)
- At least 2+ years of experience as a DevOps engineer
- Linux is your go-to-operating system
- Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, and Python
- Experience with containerization tools like Docker or Podman
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Buildbot
