Description:

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, ECS, IAM).
  • Solid understanding of IaC concepts and experience with Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
  • Experience with the Symfony framework and building RESTful APIs.
  • Proficiency in managing and optimising MySQL databases.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Bitbucket or AWS CodePipeline.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a production environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (New Relic, AWS CloudWatch).
  • Knowledge of security best practices in AWS environments.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Familiarity with other programming languages (PHP, React, Node.js).

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure AWS infrastructure (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, ECS, IAM).
  • Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
  • Collaborate with development teams to implement CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery.
  • Monitor and optimise system performance, security, and resource utilisation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues, including network connectivity and server performance.
  • Work with software engineers to optimise application performance and ensure smooth feature deployments.
  • Manage and administer MySQL databases, including schema design, performance tuning, and backups.
  • Implement and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless system integration.
  • Stay current with the latest trends and best practices in DevOps, cloud computing, and infrastructure automation.
