We creates technologies that help understand and influence consumer behavior.We decided to locate one of their offices in Warsaw and develop its company by hiring more amazing, skilled people.As a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for the ongoing management and optimization of our AWS infrastructure. You will collaborate with the security team to maintain compliance with internal and ISO standards and ensure that our systems are reliable, efficient, and secure. You will work closely with colleagues from around the world, ensuring seamless integration and operation across our international tech hubs.Employment:B2B contractHybrid work model (2 days / week from the office in Warsaw)20 days of paid leave per yearKey Responsibilities:AWS Infrastructure Management: Oversee and optimize the established AWS infrastructure, ensuring stability, security, and cost-efficiency.Monitoring and Observability: Utilize tools such as Datadog to monitor system performance, identify issues, and maintain system health.Security Compliance: Ensure adherence to security policies and procedures, working closely with the security team to maintain ISO certification and other compliance standards.On-Call Responsibilities: Participate in an on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical incidents, ensuring rapid response and resolution.Technical Leadership: Lead and mentor team members, fostering a culture of best practices in cloud operations and DevOps.International Collaboration: Work with a global team, ensuring effective communication and integration across international tech hubs.Documentation and Reporting: Keep detailed documentation of infrastructure and operational processes, and provide regular reports on system status and compliance.Requirements:Experience: 5+ years in DevOps or cloud engineering, with extensive experience in AWS environments.AWS Expertise: In-depth knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, etc.).Monitoring and Observability: Strong experience with monitoring and observability tools, specifically Datadog.Automation Tools: Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform.Security and Compliance: Solid understanding of security best practices and experience with ISO compliance requirements.Preferred Qualifications:Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or equivalent certifications.Kubernetes: Either Bare metal or EKS experience with Kubernetes is a big plus.Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum practices.Coding: Strong programming/scripting skills a definite plus.
