Actively looking for a DevOps Engineer with focus on CI/CD pipeline and automation. We are seeking someone who takes a holistic approach to the full end-to-end software development cycle - inclusive of coding, testing, deployment, maintenance, support and managing updates. Harnesses open source, enterprise and cloud technologies to deliver best-of-breed continuous integration and continuous delivery solutions - including a deployment pipeline and prioritizing development items. Develops Proof-of-Concepts to evaluate feasibility of the software application and tools. Conducts system tests in order to ensure optimum data security, availability, and performance. Applies proficiency in programming languages, deployment tools, relevant platforms, automated testing tools, and configuration management tools.

  • Establishes and defines development, test, release, update, and support procedures for DevOps operations.
  • Investigates and resolves technical issues, provides technical support, performs root cause analysis for production errors.
  • Builds tools to improve customer experience and develops software to integrate with internal back-end systems.
  • Reviews, verifies, and validates the software code developed.
  • Identifies and deploys cybersecurity measures by continuously performing vulnerability and other risk management assessments.
  • Creates and implements automation to different phases of the DevOps pipeline.
  • Builds a CI/CD pipeline (continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment) and works toward continuous improvement.
  • Designs and documents procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance.
  • Uses configuration management software to automatically deploy updates and fixes into the production environment.
  • Focus is primarily on business/group within BMO; may have broader, enterprise-wide focus.
  • Provides specialized consulting, analytical and technical support.
  • Exercises judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within given rules.
  • Works independently and regularly handles non-routine situations.
  • Hands-on experience integrating into DevOps pipelines SCA/SAST/DAST code scans
  • Experience with Artifactory and Ansible Tower during onboarding and integration
  • Experience moving on-prem solutions to Cloud. Experience moving Artifactory from on-prem to SaaS solution
  • Experience automating monitoring and alerts into Service Now, and other platforms for prompt awareness and resource engagement
  • Familiar with API solutions and optimization
  • Knowledge with Dynatrace and its instrumentation for in-depth reporting and analysis to support SRE golden signals
  • Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years’ experience in DevOps, software development industry
  • 3+ years’ CI/CD pipeline and automation experience Knowledge. AWS and ADO pipelines
  • 5+ hands-on using different programming languages Python, JavaScript, Ruby, Shell, Perl, Go, YAML and JSON
  • 2+ years’ with solid knowledge on LINUX/ UNIX and troubleshooting

Skills and Abilities required:

  • Docker, Kubernetes, Git/GitHub, SonarQube, CodeQL
  • Jenkins, Jenkins scripted pipeline (Groovy), or Tekton
  • GitHub, JEST, Dynatrace, Splunk, Grafana, AWS CloudWatch
