DEVOPS ENGINEER (CYBER SECURITY) LLL REQUIRED IN STELLENBOSCH.

One of the largest national financial services companies is looking for an DevOps Engineer (Cyber Security) lll to join their team on a full-time permanent basis in Stellenbosch, Cape Winelands, although this is a hybrid position.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a DevOps OR a consultative/complex technical deployment environment.
• General programming and application / component design.
• Experience in managing various stakeholder relationships to get consensus on solution/projects required.
• Acknowledged for collaborative decision making, conflict resolution and follow through with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in designing and implementing enterprise applications.
• Experience in developing and delivering systems on at least one of the following Public Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Experienced in PowerShell, Go, Python, Java.
• Experience with authentication and Authorization technologies and protocols (LDAP, Kerberos, AD, Auth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML).
• Hands on development experience in relation to automation, APIs, Front End systems.
• Experience developing RESTful services and Open API Specification.
• Experience working in a fast paced Agile/Scrum environment (Atlassian Stack).
• Design and deployment of highly available, enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure.
• Experience in Microsoft and Linux Server Operating Systems.
• Proven experience in designing and deploying solutions.
• Experience in expert performance monitoring/analysis and capacity planning.
• Experience using the HashiCorp stack (Nomad, Vault, Consul, Terraform)

IDEAL EXPERIENCE:

• 7+ years’ experience in a DevOps OR a consultative/complex technical deployment environment
• Design and deployment of highly available, enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure.
• Experience in Microsoft and Linux Server Operating systems.
• Proven experience in designing and deploying solutions.
• Experience in expert performance monitoring/analysis and capacity planning.
• Experience using the HashiCorp stack (Nomad, Mault, Consul, Terratorn).
• Experience using the CICD frameworks (ArgoCD, Jenkins, Gitab, Nexus).
• Experience using the Security frameworks (Sonarqube, SAST, DAST tooling).

QUALIFICATIONS (MINIMUM):

• Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational
• Certification in Software Development

Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology – Computer Science

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE:

• Object-oriented design and development

• Working Knowledge of JSON templates.
• IT systems development processes (SDLC lifecycle).
• Business compliance requirements IT Operations
