DEVOPS ENGINEER

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

• 7+ years of full-time DevOps experience, preferably at a consulting company
• Proficiency with Linux operating systems.
• Experience with Git.
• Working experience with CI/CD pipelines (Gitlab, Jenkins, Circle CI, or similar)
• Jira or similar to track questions and answers as well as enter orders
• Ability to manage networking for web applications by understanding PCP/IP, DNS, and load balancing.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, with ideal knowledge of AWS, GCP, and/or Azure
• Deep expertise with Infrastructure as Code (one or more of Terraform, Cloud Formation, AWS CDK, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc.)
• Knowledgeable of including containerization, monitoring & logging, and network & security.
• Experience deploying and managing databases, interacting with databases via SQL and ORMs.
• Comfortable using Python and Bash/Zsh to create systems tooling
• Ability to provide incident resolution to customers with hardware, software and application problems to include customer telephone support as well as electronically submitted requests)
• Ability to contribute code updates/tweaks to existing code repositories.
• Experience with software system design, able to create application architecture for new applications.
• Experience with integrating security components with applications and databases.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be working as a member of our Federal Services team to jointly design, architect, and implement software systems for our federal and government clients.
