DEVOPS ENGINEER
Remote, Anywhere in the Continental US
Due to the nature of the role, this position requires U.S. Citizenship.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
- 7+ years of full-time DevOps experience, preferably at a consulting company
- Proficiency with Linux operating systems.
- Experience with Git.
- Working experience with CI/CD pipelines (Gitlab, Jenkins, Circle CI, or similar)
- Jira or similar to track questions and answers as well as enter orders
- Ability to manage networking for web applications by understanding PCP/IP, DNS, and load balancing.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, with ideal knowledge of AWS, GCP, and/or Azure
- Deep expertise with Infrastructure as Code (one or more of Terraform, Cloud Formation, AWS CDK, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc.)
- Knowledgeable of including containerization, monitoring & logging, and network & security.
- Experience deploying and managing databases, interacting with databases via SQL and ORMs.
- Comfortable using Python and Bash/Zsh to create systems tooling
- Ability to provide incident resolution to customers with hardware, software and application problems to include customer telephone support as well as electronically submitted requests)
- Ability to contribute code updates/tweaks to existing code repositories.
- Experience with software system design, able to create application architecture for new applications.
- Experience with integrating security components with applications and databases.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be working as a member of our Federal Services team to jointly design, architect, and implement software systems for our federal and government clients. This is an ideal job if you are someone that wants to be part of an intensely skilled team, values total ownership of your work, and can’t imagine a day without coding.
