DevOps Engineer

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to create impactful solutions and collaborate with various stakeholders. This role involves designing, building, and delivering software development infrastructure to support internal tools and platform development.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the Information Technology field.
• 2-3 years of industry experience in DevOps functions for complex systems.
• Strong hands-on experience in Ubuntu, Linux Operating System (RHCE/RHCSA Certification is a plus).
• Basic knowledge in Cloud Technologies with one of the public cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) and hands-on experience is preferred.
• Basic understanding of networking (TCP/IP, Subnets, VLAN, network connectivity including TCP, UDP, ICMP, etc.).
• Experience in deploying Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform.
• Solid knowledge and experience with containers and container orchestration and deployment tools like Docker Swarm, Kubernetes, Helm, etc.
• Aptitude and ability to build and maintain CI/CD systems for complex, distributed applications using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.
• Experience with configuration tools like Ansible, Chef, and Puppet.
• Proficient in diagnosing and debugging applications in complex, distributed heterogeneous computing environments.
• Mastery of essential development tools like GIT and familiarity with collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence or similar.
• Extensive scripting experience in Shell (bash, zsh, csh, ksh), Python, Perl, etc.
• Experience in logging, monitoring, and tracing with tools like Azure Monitor, CloudWatch, Zabbix, Elasticsearch/Kibana (ELK), Prometheus/Grafana, New Relic, DataDog, Dynatrace, etc.
• Good understanding of DB technologies SQL and NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL).

• Architect and automate CI/CD production, staging, and development pipelines.
• Define new best practices and DevOps standards as required.
• Optimize and enable consistent automated deployments.
• Create Infrastructure as Code, automate application deployments, and work with vendor and hyperscalar APIs to automate deployments.
• Develop tools and scripts to automate deployments.
• Embed security controls, implementation, and testing into DevOps practices.
• Improve the design, development, and delivery of applications.
• Drive systems engineering design and recovery by eliminating manual involvement and leading continuous improvements for dynamic monitoring, alerting, and automated self-healing and recovery.
• Promote an automation-first mindset and instill it in others.
• Utilize agile practices to ensure consistent and transparent execution.
• Provide mentoring, knowledge transfer, and promote an open culture and DevOps.
• Manage and maintain the DevOps pipeline, collaborating with development teams on a combined pipeline.
• Monitor standards/policy compliance by developing and executing governance processes and tools.
