ABOUT THE TEAM
In this position, you will be part of our chapter Platform Engineering. The chapter Technology & Engineering - Platform Engineering represents all experts who deliver DevOps capabilities to all our product teams. These experts are organized together to enhance those functional skillsets, improve E.ON’s DevOps tech stack and deliver a high level of cloud automation.
The products you will be working on belong to our team Digital Solutions I Future Energy Home. This team develops and operates software to manage home energy devices such as photovoltaic, inverters, batteries, EV charging wall boxes, heat pumps and meters as a cloud-based solution for our central and local units so they can rollout those solutions to the end-customers. We integrate with numerous vendors’ devices and apply centralized insights, analytics and control mechanisms for these devices.

- Responsible for implementing DevOps practices and processes for our Future Energy Home Product portfolio
- Working within a Feature Team to deliver needed business features on time to our customers
- Collaborate with other development teams to automate and streamline deployment and operations
- Design, implement, and manage continuous integration and delivery pipelines
- Implement and manage monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure system health and performance
authentic & ambitious -Your profile
- Experience with CI/CD automation technologies and tools in general – especially Gitlab
- Strong background in AWS Cloud Automation Tools using either CloudFormation with SAM and/or Terraform
- Profound experience with AWS Cloud Services particularly with AWS Serverless offerings (e.g. Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, Route53, IAM)
- Sound knowledge of designing, developing, reviewing, testing, documenting, modifying and refactoring scripts
- Optional: Programming Background in Typescript/NodeJS
- Fluent in English
