THIS POSITION:

We are seeking a talented and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. The DevOps Engineer will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and automation processes to support our software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, system administration, and cloud technologies, with a passion for streamlining operations and improving efficiency.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps, system administration, software engineering, or related roles, with a focus on designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of AWS cloud computing concepts and services, with hands-on experience using AWS tools and services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, Lambda).
  • Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet) and version control systems (e.g., Github), and experience managing code repositories, branching strategies, and code review processes.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and security principles, with experience configuring and troubleshooting network infrastructure and security groups in AWS environments.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools and practices, such as CloudWatch and the ELK stack, and experience setting up monitoring dashboards, alerts, and automated responses.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and automation frameworks, with experience developing automation scripts, tools, and infrastructure as code templates.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
