As a DevOps Engineer, you will be working for our client, a leading global financial institution dedicated to transforming its technology landscape. You will play a crucial role in driving DevOps initiatives that enhance the engineering experience and streamline software delivery processes. The client is focused on optimizing its technology operations to enable faster, safer, and more innovative software releases. You will be part of a dynamic team committed to continuous improvement, agile methodologies, and delivering high-quality solutions that meet the needs of the organization and its users.

Responsibilities:

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinating and agreeing on change initiatives with senior stakeholders across global business functions
  • Proactively identifying and delivering improvement opportunities within the technology landscape
  • Implementing transformation projects using agile methodologies and industry best practices
  • Providing subject matter expertise and guidance to stakeholders and engineering teams
  • Managing stakeholder expectations and ensuring clear communication on project progress
  • Overseeing the adoption and rollout of agreed operating models to engineering teams
  • Developing and refining ways of working that incorporate feedback and minimize risks
  • Measuring the outcomes of change initiatives and ensuring continuous improvement
  • Supporting agile ways of working while adhering to baseline release schedules
  • Ensuring structured governance around all ongoing change initiatives

YOU’RE IDEAL FOR THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE:

  • Proven experience in driving technology transformation in a DevOps/Agile environment
  • Ability to work autonomously under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Experience in global initiatives, engaging with teams and stakeholders across multiple locations
  • Strong skills in managing multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly
  • Highly developed reasoning and analytical skills, with a structured and process-oriented approach
  • Experience in measuring the outcomes of change initiatives to demonstrate impact
  • Ability to support agile working while maintaining alignment with baseline schedules
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, ensuring accountability and clear communication
  • Proficiency in providing subject matter expertise and facilitating discussions with engineering teams
