As a DevOps Engineer, you will be working for our client, a leading financial institution, on an innovative payments orchestration platform. This project aims to create a streamlined, reusable payment orchestration engine, ensuring secure and efficient payment processing from initiation to execution. The platform will integrate specialized applications for fraud prevention, sanctions screening, and more, enabling faster and more cost-effective delivery of new product features. You will play a critical role in configuring microservices and supporting the transformation of the current applications to meet the growing demands of partners and market schemes.

Responsibilities:

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leading the DevOps function for the Payments Orchestration Layer (POL) platform
  • Collaborating with architecture and application teams to analyze project requirements
  • Supporting the transformation of current POL applications to align with the elevated architecture
  • Managing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines for automated service deployment
  • Ensuring service resilience, sustainability, and recovery time objectives are met
  • Providing technical leadership and consultation to project team members
  • Implementing and maintaining infrastructure as code (IaC) using industry-standard tools
  • Keeping up-to-date with the latest tools, technologies, and regulations related to cybersecurity and data privacy
  • Designing, coding, testing, and debugging programs as required
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant controls and standards

YOU’RE IDEAL FOR THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE:

  • 6+ years of experience with Kubernetes and Kafka
  • Expertise in Docker, Kubernetes (K8s), and service mesh technologies
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins
  • Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
  • Solid understanding of infrastructure, including Linux OS, networking, and storage
  • Expertise in monitoring and observability technologies like Prometheus and Splunk
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, including network (VPC) and firewall configurations
  • Experience in leading and mentoring technologists, with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Fluent English
