Description:
As a DevOps Engineer within Observability, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining Observability solutions that are consumed by Intapp’s engineering teams as part of the Cloud platforms engineering (CPE) directorate, to help improve Observability practices across Intapp. CPE’s mission is to enable our Engineering teams to ship value faster, securely, efficiently and reliably.
What you will do:
- Develop and improve instrumentation for monitoring, logging and distributed tracing.
- Proactively monitor systems, infrastructure, and applications to provide input in improving the stability, security, efficiency, and scalability of systems.
- Develop and maintain Monitoring and Logging toolsets
- Own operations documentation of monitoring and logging
- Improve operational efficiencies via automation, scripting and integrations.
What you will need:
- Good understanding on cloud applications monitoring and logging
- Hands-on experience with the Grafana LGTM Stack (Loki, Grafana, Tempo, Mimir, Pyroscope)
- Experience in Kubernetes/Docker and highly dynamic environments
- Practical experience with large distributed systems
- Strong automation/scripting skills (Python, Golang, any other programming language)
- A working knowledge of CI/CD
- Infrastructure provisioning and management (Terraform)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Nice to have skills:
- Experience with GitOps (ArgoCD)
- Hands-on experience in AWS/Azure resource monitoring via Prometheus
- A working knowledge in OpenSearch
