Several leading quantitative investment managers in London are seeking strong DevOps Engineers with deep experience in on-premise systems, AWS, Python development, Kubernetes and other open source tooling to join their growing core engineering teams. Title: DevOps Engineer Location: London (~3 days in) Comp: £70,000 - £140,000 basic salary + highly competitive performance bonuses Level: Junior, Mid, Senior, Tech Lead Industry: Finance, Trading, Crypto, DeFi, Hedge fund, Capital Markets, Quant Tech stack: AWS, CICD, Python, Golang, Terraform, Kubernetes, Ansible, Linux
We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer to join a small highly focused engineering team within a very fast-growing trading fund in London. This team provides critical solutions, application development, cloud engineering, automation solutions and greenfield software to enhance the effectiveness of all trading development teams. This hugely collaborative team integrates themselves across the business to build cloud infrastructure, offer innovative solutions and enhance pathways between all teams.

About you:

  • 2+ years experience within a DevOps or Cloud engineering position.
  • Proficiency in Python or Golang development
  • Strong experience in AWS engineering (certifications beneficial)
  • Experience working with Linux
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker and Ansible
  • Experience within a financial company would be beneficial
