DevOps Engineer at BairesDev
Our R&D team is an essential part of our technology solutions that drive millions in revenue every year, so we only hire the best of the best. Within the team, you’ll find many different challenges: Data analysis, Machine Learning, Desktop, and web developments are some of the most relevant right now, but in order to drive innovation, you’ll notice that new things are coming up every day!
Your objective will be to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, configure monitoring and alerting systems, and promote software development best practices in order to enable engineering teams to deliver value as fast and frequently as possible.
What You’ll Do:
- Be in charge of the deployment process of the tools developed by the team implementing CI/CD.
- Help to build a DevOps culture increasing transparency, communication, and collaboration across development, IT/operations, and the business.
- Keep updated with new technologies in the field and provide recommendations to the organization’s management on new solutions and practices.
- Monitor and improve the servers’ performance, making sure we have high availability.
- Implement monitoring and alerting mechanisms.
What we are looking for:
- 2+ years of experience working in DevOps.
- 4+ years of experience as a software engineer or similar.
- 3+ years of experience working with AWS-hosted infrastructure.
- Thorough understanding of version control (Git)
- Experience working with Docker
- Knowledge of automated testing and CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of Python, PowerShell, and/or Bash
- Advanced level of English.
Plus
- Experience with CSM (code versioning tools) Gitlab, Bitbucket, GitHub
- Previous work experience with networking and infrastructure.
- Experience with APM and Observability tools (Datadog, Grafana, ELK).
