Description:
Robert Half are assisting a market leading fintech organisation to recruit an Azure DevOps Engineer on a 6 month contract
Responsibilities:
- The Azure DevOps Engineer will be a certified Azure DevOps / Solutions Architect
- In-Depth knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles
- Ability to create infrastructure with Terraform that meets the demands of a fast paced digital team
- Monitor the system daily and respond to usability, performance or security related issues.
- Work with the Information Security & Compliance team to enhance the governance of all cloud based applications.
- Ability to handle level 2 and level 3 escalations relating to any managed applications, including Gitlab, Jenkins, Atlassian, Sharepoint, Teampass.
- Ensure all infrastructure is fully up to date in a timely manner, dealing with security patches proactively.
- Help to develop and implement policies for the better administration of users rights and privileges.
- Ability to document infrastructure and solutions
- Ability to manage application firewalls, caching layers, databases and other architecture
- Experience in working with geographically distributed teams
- Ability to communicate and coordinate with service providers
- Ability to automate development workflows
- Expertise in building automated hosting environments to support digital services
- Ability to architect system migrations
- Ability to work with budgets and forecasting
- Work with team members on succession management and planning.
- Ability to use coding languages or scripting methodologies to solve problems
