POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a talented DevOps Engineer/SRE who is passionate about DevOps, AWS, Spring, Microservices, and Architecture, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
As a DevOps Engineer/SRE, you will play a pivotal role in architecting, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure and microservices-based applications. Your expertise in AWS, Spring, and DevOps practices will drive efficiency and scalability, ensuring our technology solutions remain cutting-edge.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer/SRE in a cloud environment, with a strong focus on AWS.
  • Expertise in microservices architecture and Spring framework.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Python, Bash).
  • Experience with containerisation and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) principles (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Travis CI).
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain our AWS-based cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability, scalability, and security.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment processes.
  • Manage and optimise microservices architecture for performance and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Implement best practices for monitoring, logging, and alerting.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to optimise system architecture for maximum efficiency.
