Description:

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE A SOLID BACKGROUND IN SOFTWARE ENGINEERING, CLOUD INFRASTRUCTURE, AND AUTOMATION. THIS HYBRID ROLE OFFERS THE FLEXIBILITY TO WORK BOTH REMOTELY AND FROM OUR GHENT OFFICE, TYPICALLY 2-3 DAYS A WEEK IN THE OFFICE.

Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
- Monitor and maintain cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and on-premises environments.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and system issues.
- Ensure the security and compliance of our systems and data through best practices and regular audits.
- Develop and maintain scripts and tools to automate repetitive tasks.
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide support for production systems.
- Stay current with the latest DevOps tools, technologies, and methodologies to continuously improve our processes.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement within the team.
