LiveEO is applying the latest developments in artificial intelligence to analyse satellite data and is bringing the insights of earth observation data to customers in the enterprise sector. LiveEO’s ambitious goal is to monitor 1 billion assets across the globe with its unique SaaS solution until 2030. Our team is as global as the satellite data we process and the customers we serve. Together, we are building something big.

YOUR PROFILE

We are looking for someone who is located in Berlin, Germany. For this role, you will need to have a valid work permit that allows you to work full-time (35 hours per week) for the duration of 6 months.
If would be great if you had:
-

Coding Knowledge: Proficiency in Python and Bash (scripting experience is a plus).

• Cloud Fundamentals: Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts, preferably AWS.
• Networking: Knowledge of networking principles and TCP/IP.
• Version Control: Experience working with GitLab or similar version control systems.
• Operating Systems: Familiarity with Linux environments and command-line operations.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
• Clear and effective communication skills in English.
• A collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving

And it would be even greater if you also had:

• Infrastructure as Code: Familiarity with Terraform or similar automation tools.
• Containerization: Basic understanding of Docker and container orchestration.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Knowledge of how CI/CD pipelines work and their role in software deployment.
• Additional Technical Skills:
• Exposure to PostgreSQL databases.
• Understanding of observability and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).

LiveEO is a well funded startup founded in 2018 and based in Berlin. Our primary service is modelling risk to our customers’ assets and infrastructure from vegetation, ground deformation and change detection. We currently have around 100 employees from all over the world with a variety of background

• Assisting in debugging connectivity issues.
• Supporting CI/CD pipeline troubleshooting.
• Conducting log analysis to help understand and resolve complex problems
