We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic DevOps Intern to join our team and support the development and automation of hardware-focused processes. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to work on streamlining CI/CD pipelines, optimizing monitoring systems, and scripting automation to enhance hardware development workflows.

What you could be doing as an Intern?

  • Learn and Apply: Gain hands-on experience with DevOps principles and tools in a hardware development environment.
  • CI/CD Pipeline Development: Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines tailored for hardware development using tools such as GitLab or Jenkins (CloudBees).
  • Monitoring and Alerting: Collaborate on implementing and optimizing monitoring tools like Grafana, Prometheus, and Dynatrace to ensure hardware development processes.
  • Scripting & Automation: Write and enhance scripts in Python, Bash/Csh, or other languages to automate routine tasks in testing or validation workflows.

We are looking for individuals who:

Are currently enrolled and studying towards a Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering. Candidates with alternative degrees will also be considered if they have relevant experience.

  • Basic understanding of DevOps principles.
  • Familiarity with one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash/Csh).
  • Strong analytical skills and eagerness to learn new technologies and processes.
  • Knowledge of Git commands and version control systems.

Qualities that will help your application stand out:

  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like GitLab or Jenkins.
  • Exposure to monitoring tools and cloud infrastructure is a plus.
  • Cloud Infrastructure Experience.
