DEVOPS LEAD ENGINEER

Cognizant is looking for an experienced, innovative DevOps Lead!
Experience within a continuously changing environment that influences the banking experience for clients and employees, including driving consistent frameworks and methodologies to support consistency is critical for this role. Attention to detail and an ability to convey relevant information at summary and detailed levels is a key factor to success in this role. Requires experience in both waterfall and agile methodologies.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Possess a strong background in DevOps with a minimum of 10 years of experience.
• Have required domain experience in Commercial Lending.
• Demonstrate expertise in Microservices Terraform and related technologies.
• Show proficiency in automation and container enviro.

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable DevOps solutions to support our commercial lending platform.
• Coordinate the integration of various DevOps tools and practices to streamline development and deployment processes.
• Provide technical expertise in Microservices Terraform and other related technologies to enhance system performance.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new technologies and practices.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
• Implement container environment setups using Docker and other containerization tools.
• Manage API Gateway and Serverless architectures to support scalable and secure applications.
• Ensure the security and compliance of cloud storage solutions and container registries.
• Use Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring and performance optimization.
• Apply Google Cloud Platform Security standard methodologies to safeguard our infrastructure.
• Drive the adoption of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles to enhance system reliability.
• Integrate DevSecOps practices to ensure security is embedded throughout the development lifecycle.
• Apply GitHub and Jenkins for version control and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Provide guidance on network configurations and Apigee API Management to optimize API performance.
• Leverage GCP DevOps Engineering skills to design and implement cloud-native solutions.
• Ensure that all solutions align with industry standard methodologies and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular reviews and updates to ensure the continuous improvement of our DevOps practices.
