DevOps Network Engineer - DDI Specialist

Based in the Netherlands, you will join an international team that works towards the target infra architecture for DNS (internal & external), DHCP, IP address management on the Global Datacenters. Our services consists of both on-premise and cloud-based solutions and we have a strong focus on automation and Infra as Code (IaC).
Together we build on existing and new technologies, increase security and availability for ING’s internal and external assets. You will participate in agile work processes such as daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and planning. Together with the Product Owner, the team (Squad) works on common goals and a shared backlog related to DDI & anti-DDoS services. We use video and collaboration tools to facilitate the communication process.

WHAT DO YOU BRING?

We are looking for an enthusiastic team player with the following skills and attributes:

• Experience with Infoblox infrastructure and solutions (design, LCM, operations).
• Knowledge of Anti-DDoS implementations is a plus.
• Experienced in IP networks and network security.
• Experience in programming in Python and configuration tools such as Ansible or Terraform.
• Knowledge of Agile and DevOps practices, including the Scrum methodology.
• Passion for new technologies and methodologies.
• Proactive, problem-solving attitude with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English.

WHAT DO WE OFFER?

• Inititial 12-18 month contract assignment, after which you’ll become an internal employee with ING.
• Hybrid working, 36 hour work week.
• Salay range: €4.240,00 - €5.750,00 gross per month (depending on experience)
• Holiday payments and 13th month
• Full pension according to Dutch temp labor CLA.

As a DevOps Network Engineer - DDI Specialist, you will contribute to the development of our infrastructure for DNS (internal & external), DHCP, and IP address management in our Global Datacenters. We combine on-premise and cloud solutions with a strong focus on automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

Your responsibilities include:

• Managing DDI services and developing self-service capabilities for our internal customers.
• Taking end-to-end responsibility for our Infoblox DDI assets, including monitoring, risk and incident management, and innovation.
• Supporting DNS infrastructure (migrations, incident handling, LCM).
• Improving monitoring and alerting of our services.
• Providing consultancy for network implementations and domain management.
• Participating in incidents, changes, and improvements for our Global Datacenters.
• Performing standby/on-call duties when necessary.
