Description:

The SAS Platform Department is responsible for ensuring Desjardins has modern, secure and accessible analysis platforms. These platforms help Desjardins be more agile in achieving its business objectives for members and clients. Our department is actively involved in upgrading our SAS platforms to the new SAS Viya platform and the SAS Grid and SAS SCD platforms. As a DevOps specialist and platform administrator, you will help set up a cross-sector data analysis platform for Desjardins Group. We’re looking for people who have experience setting up complex platforms and who can be flexible as priorities change. We’re looking for a DevOps specialist and platform administrator who can help us implement our vision for the platform. If you have experience working in DevOps, we’d love to meet with you. More specifically, you will be required to:

  • Develop complex execution strategies, and analyze, design and document business products and solutions.
  • Analyze and develop software products (design, code, automate and run tests), while applying development, data and security best practices.
  • Write procedures, guidelines and development methods. Help develop documentation and prepare and deliver training for peers and consumers.
  • Cocreate with business partners and architects to get a complete understanding of business intentions and objectives and standardize solutions accordingly.
  • Identify system optimization opportunities and underlying impacts of changes. Analyze, diagnose, follow up on and resolve highly complex operational and conceptual problems during major incidents.
  • Lead software package installations and testing and application rollout.

What you bring to the table

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • A minimum of six years of relevant experience
  • Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Knowledge of French is required
  • Proficiency in continuous delivery tools (CI/CD) such as GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps
  • Knowledge of infrastructure automation technology, such as Azure DevOps Pipeline
  • Knowledge of IaC practices such as Terraform
  • Knowledge of Linux and Windows
  • Knowledge of Dynatrace and Power BI
  • Knowledge of virtualization technologies, such as containerization, Podman and Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of managing configurations with Ansible
  • Knowledge of SAS Viya
