Location: Remote with some US travel (up to 10 trips per year)
Required Clearance: Public Trust
Certifications: Microsoft Certified Azure; Microsoft Certified DevOps Engineer Expert
Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or other engineering or technical discipline
Required Experience: 6+ years of relevant experience
POSITION DESCRIPTION
PingWind is looking for a DevSecOps Engineer to provide shippable product, operations support, and security compliance for a large product line of financial technologies. The DSO Engineer shall utilize DevSecOps principles and SAFe practices to maintain a platform with capabilities to streamline systems, improve scalability, increase availability and reliability of services, and more accurately measure investments in terms of business value while enabling more efficient delivery.

Responsibilities:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct DSO Maturity Assessment and assess maturity against Release Process
- Identify technical, process, and business gaps
- Identify opportunities to implement automated build tools and reduce technical debt
- Analyze test-driven development readiness to support automated regression with each change
- Assess technical debt and identify ways to reduce footprint, such as decommissioning unused development/test instances
- Evaluate existing application DSO maturity and employ a repeatable model to guide team towards continuous value delivery
