ABOUT THE ROLE

Gold Coast Private Hospital is currently looking for an experienced Diabetic Educator to join our team of professionals in providing excellent patient care. This position is part of the Education team.

YOUR DUTIES WILL INCLUDE

• Provide education to all staff
• Provide expert diabetic advice and diabetic education to inpatients and their significant others
• Review management of referred patients with diabetes, assess patients and liaise with staff and visiting medical officers regarding plan of care
• Undertake research and development, service planning and education activities to meet clinical and nursing need in diabetes Education
• Oversee the appropriate maintenance and storage od diabetic equipment
