Diagnostic/Master Vehicle Technician

Under the umbrella of Stratford Tyres Ltd, we are seeking a Diagnostic / Master Technician to join our Vehicle Repair Workshop where we diagnose/repair faults, carry out vehicle servicing and maintenance on all vehicle types.
Over the past 16 years Stratford Tyres Ltd has developed from a small tyre shop to 2 large workshops a stones throw away from each other. Our smaller site offers all Tyre services, Digital Wheel Alignment/ Vehicle Setup and MOT testing whilst our second site boasts 8 ramps where our dedicated Service/Repair Technicians are based.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge with 10 years experience as a vehicle technician and adequate experience within a vehicle diagnostic role. The role includes using a wide range of diagnostic equipment and our garage management system to create accurate diagnostics reports.
All applicants must hold a valid qualification in vehicle repair and a full driving license.

• Diagnose faults efficiently across a broad range of cars and vans
• Complete and document diagnostic reports using technical expertise
  *Continuously update your skills and knowledge through training programmes
  *Record vehicle inspection finding on digital job cards
  *Liaise with customers following diagnostic reports, providing clear and detailed repair estimates
• Work closely with both the Workshop Controller and Service Manager
  *Perform repairs on vehicles and provide instruction to repair technicians
