REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have a Grade 12 (Matric)
• Must be a Qualified Section 13 Diesel Mechanic with RED SEAL certification.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must have 5 years of experience working as a qualified Diesel Mechanic.
• Must be well-spoken in English.
• Knowledge of Air conditioners and the electrical component will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of petrol engines will be an advantage.

• Adjusting equipment and repairing or replacing any defective parts.
• Cleaning, lubricating, and performing other maintenance work.
• Diagnosing malfunctions or problems or testing equipment to determine the root cause of any issues.
• Repairing and verifying any emission control systems.
• Meeting with designated vehicle drivers/managers to explain problems and possible solutions.
• Carrying out any repairs as needed to replace the transmission or other damaged parts.
• Understanding the inner workings of various machines such as TLBs, graders, generators, tractors, and farming equipment.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on vehicles and generators.
