Description:
These are permanent full-time roles working for a nationwide recruitment agency – The Success Group, you will be working in various sites across New Zealand, with weekly guaranteed hours at least 30.
In this role you will be part of a successful team, work with the latest automotiveequipment in both field service and workshop roles. Each job different from the last asyou will be working on a variety of machinery, this role will keep you on your toes.
EXPERIENCE:
3 years’ experience or more experiences of servicing Heavy trucks and Heavyequipment is preferred.
Trade Qualification or extensive experience as a Diesel Mechanic.
Experience with Heavy Earthmoving / Agricultural / Plant / Constructionequipment.
Experience servicing and repairing Trucks.
Have experience in either a workshop or as a Field Service Technician.
High level of initiative and problem-solving skills.
Must be hard working and motivated.
Must be willing to submit to a drug test and pass.
Self-motivated and a pro-active attitude.

Responsibilities:
Fault finding, repairs and scheduled services and maintenance of diesel motors,heavy machinery and other heavy vehicles.
Repairing and replacing parts and assembling components based on servicemanuals.
Providing scheduled maintenance services for diesel equipment.
Inspection of vehicles following a thorough inspection checklist.
Maintenance, service and repairs of engine, transmission and hydraulic systems.
Testing and visual examinations to detect maintenance need or to diagnose anymalfunctions.
Ensure vehicles are running smoothly and that all parts and systems are clean, upto safety standards and fully operational.
