Our client is looking for a compassionate and experienced Paediatric Dietitian to join their dedicated team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of these children and their families.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field.
  • CORU registration
  • Experience working with paediatric patients, especially those with disabilities, is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of special feeding techniques and medical nutrition therapy for children with complex needs.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with children, families, and a multidisciplinary team.
  • Empathy, patience, and a passion for improving the quality of life for children with disabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for children with various disabilities, including physical, intellectual, and developmental conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans that support the overall health, growth, and development of each child.
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to create holistic treatment plans.
  • Provide guidance and education to families and caregivers on nutrition-related issues and feeding strategies.
  • Monitor and evaluate the progress of each child’s nutritional status, adjusting care plans as necessary.
  • Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in paediatric nutrition and disability care.
  • Advocate for the nutritional needs of children with disabilities within the healthcare team and broader community.
  • Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and continuing education activities.
