As a Dietitian I reporting to the Manager of Nutrition Services, South Zone, you would be responsible for nutrition assessment, development, implementation and evaluation of nutrition care plans for adults and pediatric outpatients including pediatric feeding difficulties, and pediatric and adult eating disorders based out of the Melcor Centre in Lethbridge. As a Dietitian I, you would also be responsible for providing nutrition care plans for long term care residents in Coaldale one day a week. You may also facilitate group nutrition sessions (e.g. weight management, irritable bowel syndrome, heart health) using nutrition counselling for behaviour change as appropriate to achieve nutrition and health outcomes.
Description:
As a Dietitian I, you may provide nutrition expertise to patients (clients, residents) in various AHS facilities and community settings to achieve nutrition and health outcomes. You may be responsible for nutrition assessment, development, implementation and evaluation of nutrition care plans. You may plan and provide public health nutrition services and education programs to promote healthy living and disease prevention for clients/groups in facilities or community settings. Nutrition education is provided to students and other healthcare professionals to support delivery of evidence based nutrition information.
