The Digital Acceleration Analyst for the Digital Center of Excellence - Digital Acceleration area will work hand-in-hand with DGU Business Platforms’ Leads and their Digital Acceleration teams, as well as EDP businesses across the world, to (1) orchestrate the Digital Chapter, its rituals, processes and new, more collaborative and agile ways of working, (2) help shape the global digital strategy and roadmap, and help guide the transformation required across Business Platforms, (3) consolidate, prioritize, and select new digital solutions to be developed and implemented through the Global Digital Factory, and (4) articulate strategic partners to challenge EDP to evolve, faster. This is a wide-ranging role, that will require the successful candidate to work across organizational areas and departments.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Management, or similar;
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience in Strategy and/or Management consulting, in a top-tier consulting firm;
  • Experience in digital strategy and transformation projects;
  • Experience in leadership and/or relations management in large, complex organizations;
  • Experience and/or knowledge of the energy sector will be valued;
  • Proven ability to adapt to an everchanging context, in a dynamic and fast-paced environment;
  • Strong understanding of data and AI technologies and their applications in the business;
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, and ability to develop productive and collaborative relationships with senior stakeholders;
  • Highly adept at problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation;
  • Strong analytical skills, structured and methodical approach, combined with an inquisitive mind, and ability to quickly learn complex material;
  • Strong written, oral communication and presentation skills;
  • Excellent Project Management skills;
  • Commitment to producing high-quality work, high attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Digital Strategy:
  • Help shape EDP’s digital strategy, in close alignment with top-management, and in collaboration with the various DGU Platforms and EDP businesses;
  • Prepare and deliver high-quality executive presentations to C-Level on relevant digital topics, points-of-view, and high-impact projects;
  • Research and develop internal and external benchmark exercises to challenge the organization, with forward-thinking, digital, user-centric, and future-like view use cases.
  • Digital Governance:
  • Build a trusted relationship and work together with the various DGU Platforms (incl. Digital Acceleration areas), and EDP businesses, across platforms and geographies;
  • Orchestrate the Digital Chapter, with DGU Platforms’ Digital Accelerators, ensuring adoption of best practices, standardized processes, and establishment of the community;
  • Manage the relation with technology strategic partners to capture best in class practices and use cases and challenge the business (e.g. with Microsoft, AWS, Google);
  • Support the preparation and delivery of Design Thinking workshops with wide organization involvement, and collaboration in ideating, prioritizing, and designing new opportunities.
  • Digital Projects:
  • Manage high-impact, high-visibility, strategic, and transformational projects in collaboration with other internal areas, and/or external consultancies;
  • Ensure optimal application of capital and resources regarding digital transformation, setting the bar for value cases build, and empiric analysis to support decision making;
  • Engage the various DGU Platforms’ Digital Accelerators and EDP businesses and employees, in structuring new digital opportunities and/or challenges identification, scoping, prioritizing and value casing;
  • Directly manage the process for prioritizing and selecting new digital solutions to be included in the development pipeline of DGU’s Global Digital Factory.
