JOB DESCRIPTION
YuJa is seeking a passionate, highly knowledgeable Digital Accessibility Specialist to join our energetic and creative team. The ideal candidate will ensure our products and services meet ADA, Section 508, and WCAG standards, fostering inclusivity for all users. This role requires in-depth knowledge of accessibility standards and compliance regulations, with a focus on auditing and reporting.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field such as Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, or Digital Accessibility, or related academic stream with up to 1-3 years of relevant experience; courses in Accessibility domain are preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive accessibility audits on websites, web applications, desktop applications, mobile applications, and digital content to ensure compliance with ADA, Section 508, and WCAG (2.0/2.1) standards.
- Create detailed audit reports (Example - VPAT), including actionable recommendations to address accessibility barriers.
- Ensure adherence to accessibility laws and regulations.
- Maintain a robust understanding of emerging accessibility trends and updates to relevant standards.
- Provide expert guidance on accessibility best practices to internal teams as needed.
- Assess and validate fixes made to address previously identified accessibility issues.
