About the roleAs a Digital Advertising Specialist, you’ll work within the fast-paced, vibrant and collaborative Marketing and Engagement department. Your key purpose will be to provide management of Compassion UK’s (CUK’s) digital advertising initiatives. By doing this well, you’ll enable greater reach and engagement with existing and potential sponsors, ultimately releasing even more children from poverty in Jesus’ name.About youWe’re looking for a dynamic and skilled digital advertising professional to join our team! The successful candidate will bring a wealth of knowledge and experience in digital advertising and analytics, and a passion for making an impact.Key ResponsibilitiesActively maintain and promote Compassion UK’s Christian ethos and values.Deliver Digital Advertising strategies and activities to meet agreed organisational outcomes.Manage relevant partnerships and relationships, internally and externally, to ensure compliance and consistency across digital advertising and other CUK comms.The successful candidate will have the following skills:Digital Advertising ExpertiseYou’re a pro when it comes to promoting brands or products online! You’ll be in charge of planning, running, and evaluating digital advertising campaigns across Compassion UK’s platforms. Whether it’s Meta Business Manager or Google AdWords, you know how to craft targeted campaigns that drive both awareness and conversions, and you’ve got the results to prove it.Analytical Skills That ShineIf numbers and trends excite you, this role is for you! You’ve got hands-on experience with digital analytics, especially GA4, and can confidently work with different analytics packages and reporting tools. Your ability to spot trends and create insightful, data-driven reports will be essential to driving informed decisions.Know Your RegulationsYou’ll make sure all our digital advertising complies with data and fundraising regulations. With the digital landscape always evolving, you’ll help us stay compliant while keeping our campaigns effective and impactful.Master of Project ManagementYou’re a natural organiser, capable of handling multiple projects at once. From start to finish, you know how to prioritise tasks, keep things on track, and see every project through to successful completion.Our Faith RequirementSince this role supports Compassion’s Christian ethos, it’s important that the person in this role is a practising Christian. You’ll help others experience, explore, and express the faith-based motivation behind our work. (You can read more about this in our Policy on Posts to be Held by Christians. Desirable (but not mandatory) SkillsAt least two years of experience managing digital advertising campaigns (especially in acquisition) for a medium-sized or larger organization, ideally in a not-for-profit setting.A relevant qualification from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, the Institute of Direct and Digital Marketing, or a similar body.Experience in conversion copywriting and creative selection to boost digital campaign performance.Location, hours and benefitsOffice-based in Fleet, Hampshire, GU51 2 UTHybrid working is offered as a benefit. You may work up to 60% of your hours from home and the office is closed on Fridays.
