Description:

Birdon are looking for highly motivated Digital and Support Officers to join our team in Port Macquarie, Sydney and Perth (Full-Time and Part-Time positions available).
The role of the Digital and ICT Senior Support Officer is to coordinate and provide Digital and ICT support to facilitate the delivery of efficient, high quality ICT services to Birdon employees and clients. The role contributes to a high performing team and acts to ensure excellent customer service and continuous service improvement.

Key accountabilities for this role include:

  • Coordinate, provide and maintain ICT support services in accordance with the Birdon’s standards, policies, operating procedures and agreed service levels.
  • Diagnose and resolve incidents and issues via remote-support tools, telephone and on-site escalation of relevant incidents, requests and problems.
  • Contribute to the analysis, investigation and control of cyber-security threats, risks and incidents.
  • Assist with the design, deployment, maintenance and improvement of Birdon’s Digital and ICT systems and services.
  • Coordinate, create and maintain Digital and ICT knowledge articles and service management documentation.
  • Proactively promote quality, environmental responsibility & safety within the workplace, encouraging an outcome of Birdon being a place of work by choice.
  • Actively participating in the continued growth of the business in all divisions.

Essential:

  • Cert 4 in Information Technology (or greater), or equivalent recent industry experience.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to interpret technical data.
  • Proactive manner demonstrating strong interpersonal and customer service skills.Highly Proficient in Microsoft 365 software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Office.

Desirable

  • Industry certification in Microsoft Azure or Amazon AWS.
