Job Description

As our new Digital Art Director you will lead the creative vision, conception, and direction of outstanding digital solutions for integrated, cross-channel initiatives, including digital advertising and marketing, social media activations and campaigns. On a day-to-day basis, your role will include:

  • Conceptualise and direct the creation of digital assets for campaigns, collaborating with designers and other specialists to bring your vision to life.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including strategists, copywriters, developers, product managers, and other designers, to bring ideas to life.
  • Engage in client meetings to gather requirements, understand business objectives, and build strong client relationships.
  • Present design decisions and solutions to clients and stakeholders with clarity and confidence.
  • Proactively identify and address potential design challenges, proposing effective solutions as they arise.
  • Stay current with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to ensure our work remains fresh and innovative.
  • Develop and implement innovative creative strategies that differentiate us from competitors and enhance our brand identity.

Qualifications

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS THAT ARE ADVANTAGEOUS:

  • Working knowledge of Motion Design, with familiarity in After Effects for creating motion graphics and animations.
  • Previous experience in client-facing roles or consultancy environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities:

TO BE SUCCESSFULL IN THIS ROLE IT TAKES THE FOLLOWING:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Digital Design, Art Direction, Multimedia Design, Graphic Design or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3-5+ years of experience as a Digital Designer, Art Director, or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio demonstrating your expertise in digital art direction.
  • Proficient in Figma
  • Skilled in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Exceptional creative thinking and conceptual abilities, with a proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams toward a shared creative vision.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and German; French is a plus.
