Waracle is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our team on a contract (Inside IR35) basis.
This is a hybrid role working from the Glasgow office, with an expectation of working at the client spot from time to time.
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be the subject matter expert for the product, articulating complex functionality to both internal and external stakeholders. You will act as the key facilitator between the development and delivery team, supporting the development of a digital energy product.

Some of the duties will include:

• Facilitate between the Development team, Delivery, and any third parties concerning solution functionality, bring your knowledge of the current product and underlying technology and architecture to discussions about new features in order to contribute to the system design.
• Accurately define the requirements for key roadmap activities, understanding of prioritisation for value.
• Question, understand, and challenge the development team, articulating both technical and business understanding to users.
• Articulate relevant Epics, Features, user stories, scenarios, customer journeys, and wireframes, if necessary, for the developers to understand the goal of each prioritised item.
• Create, own, and execute against product roadmap tied to the long-term vision and strategy.

Requirements

• Experience working as part of an Agile, digital engineering team.
• Solid stakeholder management skills with the ability to understand technical designs and requirements.
• Hands-on experience with app development projects, with a good grasp of technical concepts such as APIs and system integrations.
• Comfortable and experienced in writing and maintaining detailed functional and systems requirements documentation.
• Skilled with software such as JIRA and Confluence
• Background working in a TDD/BDD environment.
• Experience working at scale within an enterprise environment.
• Experience delivering digital products to consumers.
