Description:

Purpose of the role:
Responsible for supporting the E-Commerce Content Manager for the visual and technical execution of the Ben Sherman Websites (UK, DE, US) ensuring the content is inspirational, relevant, engaging and is aligned with the seasonal promotional and marketing calendar.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing the digital content planner for each site, collaborating across multiple teams on website content updates to ensure key promotional and marketing activity is covered.
  • Responsible for creating and building SEO optimised blog content in line with the overall content planner and seasonal activity.
  • Support the E-Commerce Content Manager in briefing image and copy requirements to the Creative Team to drive sales, AOV and conversion.
  • Optimise all visual imagery across the sites including homepage, product landing pages, blogs and competitions.
  • Manage the upload of seasonal meta data to maximise on SEO potential
  • Use Google Analytics daily to monitor the website and product performance and identify content requirements based on the data.
  • Use the Marketing/Trading Calendars to understand the trading and content priorities and ensure products are featured/merchandised accordingly.
  • Monitor, browse and test website frequently to ensure all links, functionality, content and pages are working seamlessly and work with the Ecommerce optimisation/development team to resolve any irregularities or issues.
  • Set up and track all offer codes used in conjunction with emails and online offers and track usage results
  • Work closely with the E-Commerce Trading and Development teams, improving website design and user experience.
  • Awareness of key promotional activity, ensuring prices are actioned and accurate for launch of the event. Highlight any risks to delivery.
  • Update key footer and store pages when information changes are required.
  • Update the website/blog with new keyword rich content such as articles on a regular basis
  • Observe key competitor activity in the retail space for differential trading tactics and content ideation, applying these learnings to help optimise UX & conversion.
