Description:
NKPR is looking for an experienced Digital Content Creator to join our Toronto team and support with strong copywriting and content creation for NKPR’s digital channels. The Digital Content Creator will be a creative thinker that can turn concepts into compelling content in tandem with PR teams to meet our overall marketing objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build content calendars and write copy for social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, Linkedin, website, blog, newsletters, etc)
- Create various forms of social media content— text captions, videos, and images—suitable for the various social media platforms
- Post content and manage engagement, including comments, messages and mentions on social media platforms
- Ensure the growth of social media channels and development of an engaged online audience
- Manage social media and newsletter campaigns, paid programs, strategic partnerships, and promotions
- Proactively research, recommend and, execute new social media strategies and tactics
Qualifications:
- MUST HAVE strong writing skills with 5+ years social media copywriting for editorial and/or brands
- Experience in Editorial, PR or Marketing preferred
- Creative thinker with a demonstrated ability to translate business objectives into social media strategies
- Exceptional writing skills with a proven ability to adapt tone based on the audience and brand objectives
- A sharp eye for the details
- Strategic mindset
- Deep knowledge of social media trends
Ability to work with creative tools like Adobe and Canva
- Ability to incorporate a brand voice and identity into digital content
- Ability to create content that is engaging across channels and audiences
- Highly-organized self-starter who can balance multiple priorities and drive results
- Accountable and deadline-driven team player
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to develop strong relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels.
